About This 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring

This 2019 CX-5 Grand Touring comes in at 88,540 miles — a very reasonable number for a vehicle of this age, and well within the range where Mazda's famously durable drivetrain is still in its prime years. The exterior silver finish gives it a clean, upscale appearance that holds up well on the road, and the Grand Touring trim represents the top of the standard CX-5 lineup for the 2019 model year. That means this isn't a base model with stripped-out features — it's the version Mazda built to compete directly with European-leaning SUV buyers who want something refined without the luxury price tag.

Stock number K1530012 is ready for inspection at Pristine Cars & Trucks, located in Marietta in Cobb County. If you're shopping for a used compact SUV in the Atlanta metro area, this is one worth scheduling a test drive for.

2019 Mazda CX-5 Performance and Engine

Under the hood, this CX-5 Grand Touring runs Mazda's 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G four-cylinder engine — one of the most thoughtfully engineered naturally aspirated engines in its segment. It delivers a confident blend of fuel efficiency and real-world responsiveness, making it equally at home on Atlanta's congested highways and the winding suburban roads of Cobb County.

Power is sent to the front wheels through Mazda's 6-speed SKYACTIV-Drive automatic transmission, which also includes manual and sport shift modes for when you want a more engaged driving experience. This isn't the kind of transmission that feels numb or disconnected — Mazda tuned it to respond quickly and hold gears naturally through corners. The FWD configuration keeps weight low and fuel economy competitive, which is a practical win for daily commuters throughout the Marietta area.

Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Features and Interior

The Grand Touring trim is where the CX-5 really earns its premium reputation. Mazda loaded this level with features that rival vehicles charging significantly more, including leather-trimmed seating, a power moonroof, heated front seats, a Bose premium audio system, and a heads-up display — amenities you'd more commonly associate with European luxury brands.

Technology and Connectivity

The 2019 CX-5 Grand Touring includes Mazda Connect infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a crisp center display, and a commander-style rotary controller that keeps your eyes on the road rather than hunting for touchscreen buttons. Navigation, premium audio, and seamless smartphone integration make this a genuinely modern cabin experience.

Safety Features

Mazda's i-ACTIVSENSE suite comes standard on this trim, covering blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. For buyers who prioritize safety — especially those with families — the CX-5 Grand Touring checks every important box.

Mazda CX-5 Reliability and Ownership

The CX-5 has consistently earned some of the highest reliability ratings in the compact SUV segment. J.D. Power, Consumer Reports, and real-world owner communities all point to the same conclusion: these vehicles hold together exceptionally well with basic maintenance. The 2.5-liter SKYACTIV engine is not known for the timing chain issues, transmission problems, or excessive oil consumption that plague some competitors.

At 88,540 miles, this CX-5 is well past its break-in period but nowhere near the end of its useful life. Owners regularly report driving their CX-5s well past 150,000 and even 200,000 miles with nothing more than routine service. If the previous owner kept up with oil changes and scheduled maintenance — which a pre-purchase inspection can help confirm — this is a vehicle that can serve a new owner for many years ahead.
